Patrick Bose, Clinical Lead (Obstetrician lead)
What do you do in your role?
I am an experienced consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading after having worked at Queen Charlotte’s, Chelsea & Westminster and St Thomas’ Hospitals. I am the lead obstetrician for the LMNS and support our regional teams by providing insight and experience from a clinical perspective. I am currently leading on I am currently the clinical lead for the Perinatal Pelvic Health service transformation and also support a range of projects where obstetric input is required (workforce/specialised services/personalised care).
What difference are you making to improve the care and health outcomes of patients and members of the public?
I believe in an individualised/personal approach to the care of all patients and am always happy to discuss contentious issues in order to provide the highest standards of medical care. I am committed to ensuring we learn from poor outcomes, and place significant reliance on reviewing cases to identify areas requiring improvement in clinical practice.
Something about me:
I am dedicated to supporting my two sons in their sporting endeavours and also engage in numerous hobbies including allotment gardening, photography and cycling.
