Buckinghamshire Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership in collaboration with the Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing Hub and LMNS organised a Black History Month event in Aylesbury. A great opportunity for service users and staff to come together.

The event, celebrating our sisters had various talks on maternity, menopause, mental health, diabetes with health checks, music and delicious food! The turnout was great and it was a great opportunity for the black communities to come together to discuss a range of topics within Women’s Health and maternity in general.

We thank all of the people who attended this event and look forward to the opportunity to work with other communities from ethnically diverse backgrounds to improve the equity and equality of our maternity and neonatal services across the area.
